MADT Project 1

O yeh! it's the first project and it's so much fun...! ... haha. Our assignment was to find a digital device and turn it into something that someone wouldn't be able to recongnize what it was originally. My first plan for this project was to make something out of my broken nintendo ds that would show a moving scene from a game on 2 seperate screens. I was planning on using a workout game to showcase different parts of the body while working ou,t and also add some type of system that could calculate how much calories you are losing etc. Unfortunately this plan was a bit advanced for the materials and knowledge that I had at my disposal, so I had to come up with a new brilliant idea! In the end, a guard tower and red sensors to detect motion behind structures came into my mind and I invented this beast of a machine! The most recent name I could think of was the GTS, Guard Tower Sensor!

The GTS beta is made simply from a mouse and a webcam head that are connected together through small wires. The GTS works by turning on its sensor lights at the middle and at the top camera head. Example:

The white lights support to light up dark areas while the red sensor in the middle is used to detect motion of humans.
The GTS will be updated some soon so stay on your toes!
